Imaginethere is a community of people that believe in respect, laughter, and art. We believe that you don’t have to be around the 'cool' crowd to be original, that embracing your surroundings and others will get you far, and that by picking up a paintbrush you will surpass your own expectations. We were the kids that loved Power Rangers, playing Sega, dreamed of riding Marty McFly’s hoverboard and looked everywhere for a radioactive spider to bite us. We were also the kids that couldn’t wait to get out of history class and into art.
Along the way we’ve kind of learned a lot, like how family is everything, how diversity isn’t only based on appearance, and that learning to laugh at yourself can really be some funny shit.
We take it upon ourselves to learn from others and if you think it’s difficult to inspire, I’m pretty sure Paul, George, Ringo, and John thought that too and we think they’ve done pretty well for themselves, you’ve probably heard of em.
We believe that simplicity is key, you need to dare to suck, that clean lifestyles are just as exciting as any other, learning to cook can be pretty awesome once you’ve learned to make something that’s actually edible, and that art is really everywhere because it’s not a matter of where you look, but how.
We’ve sure matured, but never really seemed to grow up and to quote Mr. Picasso “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up”, with that said, I’ll assume we’re doing good at least in that department.
